By using DoubleCheck, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the extension.
Service Description
DoubleCheck is a scam detection tool that analyzes messages on supported platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook Messenger, Telegram Web) and provides risk scores. DoubleCheck is an awareness tool, not a guarantee of safety.
Limitations
- DoubleCheck may produce false positives (flagging safe messages as scams)
- DoubleCheck may produce false negatives (missing actual scams)
- DoubleCheck is not a replacement for your own judgment and caution
- We are not responsible for any losses resulting from scam messages
Free and Pro Plans
DoubleCheck offers both free and paid (Pro) plans. Free plans have usage limits. Pro plans provide automatic scanning and higher limits. Pro subscriptions can be canceled at any time through the Chrome Web Store.
Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Use DoubleCheck for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the extension
- Use automated tools to abuse the service
- Resell or redistribute DoubleCheck
Intellectual Property
DoubleCheck and all related content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the extension without permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
DoubleCheck is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of DoubleCheck, including but not limited to losses from scam messages.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of DoubleCheck after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
