How do I install DoubleCheck?

Click the "Install Free" button on our homepage or visit the Chrome Web Store. The installation takes about 10 seconds.

How do I use DoubleCheck?

After installation, pin the extension to your toolbar. When you open a conversation on LinkedIn, Facebook Messenger, or Telegram Web, click the scan button (or enable auto-scan for Pro users) to analyze messages.

What platforms are supported?

Currently, DoubleCheck works on LinkedIn, Facebook Messenger, and Telegram Web. More platforms are coming soon.

Is DoubleCheck free?

Yes, DoubleCheck has a free plan with manual scanning and 5 scans per day. Pro plans offer automatic scanning and higher limits for $4.99/month.

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Open the DoubleCheck extension and choose "Upgrade to Pro" in the popup. You can also review plans on our Pricing page.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

You can cancel anytime from the extension (Stripe). You'll keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.

Does DoubleCheck read all my messages?

Free users must manually click "Scan" to analyze messages. Pro users can enable automatic scanning, which analyzes conversations as you browse. We only analyze message text for risk and do not store full chat text.

What if DoubleCheck gives a false positive?

DoubleCheck is an awareness tool, not a guarantee. It may occasionally flag safe messages as suspicious. Always use your own judgment. You can report false positives or suggest improvements through our Feature Requests page.
